Dr Nilesh Madhukar Rane, the very name that represents nothing but perfection in both the sports world and the philanthropic community, is a living example that anyone can make it. As the Vice President of SDPF INDIA and a world record holder, his journey is more than a story about a person who beat all the odds in life. It's so significant and interesting at the same time. This biography is also a story about one such man with the utmost determination to overcome difficulties who has been a bright light for so many people. Early Life & Background

Being born with a firm determination to become a cricket star, Nilesh Madhukar Rane always had a dream, and it was his fluttering dream of achieving success in sports that he was brought up with. Nevertheless, finances were tight, which presented the main obstacle to him living his dreams. He decided to look beyond the difficulty, hence he chose to shape the difficulty instead. He came up with the idea to opt for development which will help the talented students from underprivileged backgrounds to reach their full potential.

Career

Nilesh Rane's career life is constructed on his unwavering conviction and dedicated support in the fields of sports and social welfare. He founded 'Raya Sports Club' and 'SDPF Maharashtra Sports Organization' which gave a source of livelihood to the rural area youth who wanted to show their talents. Throughout the period, Nilesh's coaching and advice have revolutionized the lives of thousands of his trainees making them to gain access to higher-level competitions. Not only has his wholeheartedness and foresight brought the individuals to the power threshold, but it has also made positive contributions to the sports family in totality. [1]

Nilesh Madhukar Rane has made significant contributions for which he has been recognized and awarded. He has a collection of many accolades and recognitions, such as the illustrious 'Inspiration Youth of Sports' award in 2018. Nevertheless, the most important of these honors was fulfilled on the international platform. Nilesh has been honoured by the 'World Book of Records, London, the 'India Book of Record' and ‘Aasam Book of Record, Aasam’ along with the 'Harvard Book of Record, London' for his outstanding contributions to sports welfare. He Got 15 National Awards, 5 State Awards, 2 International Awards, 139 District Awards and other social awards for his tireless efforts to guide 4000 players from impoverished backgrounds to attain their capabilities have earned him an area in history. Recently he was awarded the Honorary Doctorate by Delhi – based on commending his exceptional contribution and achievements in Sports and Social Work.

Vision & Mission

Nilesh Rane's mission is simple, and he never tosses it off the path – that is to give opportunities and insights to blocked-out people caused by the impoverished. Serving as the National Vice-President of the Sports Development and Promotion Federation of India, he stands as a spearhead of activities meant for the promotion of sports. His involvement as a National Member of the South Asian Chambers of Commerce and Industry underlines both the sports' and economic progress' importance to him.

Nilesh has launched the 'Nilesh Rane Yuva Pratishthan' youth organization and is very active in the capacity of State-Incharge in various sports development associations across states like Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat which reflects his unwavering and poignant endeavour to change the lives of the poor people.
